Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BCE) was a successful, long-reigning pharaoh of Egypt. During her 20+ years rule, Egypt flourished. She ruled peacefully and focused on trade rather than war. Hatshepsut erected buildings, monuments, and temples. Someone tried to erase her from history.
