Mary Wollstonecraft was a writer, philosopher, and supporter of equality for women. In her revolutionary book, Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792), Wollstonecraft argued for education and social reforms for women. Her daughter was Mary Shelley.
I do not wish them (women) to have power over men; but over themselves.
